As a Barista, you areresponsible for serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner todeliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. As Barista would also berequired to have extensive coffee knowledge of menu offerings. Specifically,you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards:
What will I be doing?
-Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
-Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels ofcustomer service
-Ensure knowledge of menu and all products
-Prepares coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparationtechniques for coffee drinks, such as espresso, expresso lungo, latte, andcappuccino.
-Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffeebrewing equipment; maintaining supplies for coffee bar.
-Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshootingbreakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; callingfor repairs.
– Ensure mis-en-place is wellstocked at all floor stations
-Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues or challenges
-Ensure coffee orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in atimely manner
-Ensure compliance of Hotel brand standards
-Comply with company security, fire regulations and all health and safetylegislation
-Practice Hilton Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanlinessand personal hygiene
-Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good workingrelationships
– To perform any other dutiesas assigned
