Job Summary
 
Field Works
Assists and conducts site inspections as directed by Resident Engineer.
Monitors and records on daily basis the M&E works progress.
Initials/ checks that the M&E progress reported by the Contractor is accurate.
Checks and reports on the progress of rectification works/ M&E items in the defects list.
Monitors and reports on the contractor’s enforcement of safety practices.
Inspects the various tests to be carried out on site (e.g. flow test/ ponding tests etc).
Verifies and ensure all M&E installation carried out by the Contractors are in accordance with approved drawings.

Ensure M&E licensed personnel appointed by the Contractors such as Licensed Plumber, Licensed Gas Service Worker, Licensed M&E Worker, etc. as specified, are attending and conducting periodic inspection to check on all M&E installations, including testing and commissioning of M&E systems, to ensure full compliance with specification and codes.

Project Administration
Assists the Resident Engineer to ensure all site diaries and inspection records are kept and consolidate & file weekly.

Attends daily toolbox meetings, and Contractor’s technical and progress meetings when required by the Resident Engineer.

Undertakes other duties as delegated by DPA Project Director/ Resident Engineer/ M&E consultant.

Office Administration
Undertake ancillary office duties as directed by DPA Project Director / Resident Engineer/ M&E consultant.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience relevant working experience

Experience in Electrical projects is a must

Good interpersonal skills and a team player

Work Location: Sembawang

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution, shall possess at least the National Construction Certificates of Supervision (NCCS)

Registered with IES/ACES as RTO
