PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
 
Provide administrative support on policy issuance / medical card issuance / subsequent amendments / policy renewals, policy set-up / experience refund / receipting, where applicable, to achieve section’s performance objectives.
Efficient and accurate processing to provide excellent aftersales support to customers and distributors. Attention to details and supervision of processing transactions.
OUTCOMES

Strategic
 
Ensure medical cards, bills / set-up / receipting are issued / processed within stipulated timeline promptly and accurately.
Timeliness in reports preparation and completion of assigned task(s).
Operational (where applicable)
 
Medical cards and billing administration of corporate policies on assigned transactions.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers (internal & external), intermediaries and distribution channels
Participate and oversee Group Life & Health Services projects as assigned by supervisor.
Liaise with intermediaries and clients to transact and ensure payment reconciliation.
Ensure that risks taken in own areas of work are controlled within approved limits.
Handle complaints within the stipulated requirements.
Participate and oversee Group Life & Health Services projects as assigned by supervisor.
Authorize and approve policy transactions and payments
Perform receipting function for incoming payments via GIRO, telegraphic transfer and cheque
payments. Liaise with intermediaries and clients to transact and ensure payment reconciliation.
Perform Claims and Benefits system set up
Tabulation of actual experience refund
Performs system testing to support implementation of system enhancement
Risk Management / Governance

Work procedures are documented and updated accordingly.
Work procedures adhere to regulatory requirements & company guidelines.
Transactions and processes are conducted accurately and within appropriate authority levels
Ensure key risks have been understood, identified and managed and/that, where concerns or doubts exist, are raised with line management.

Insurance professional qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

Understand the principles and practices for Group Life & Health Businesses
Good knowledge of life insurance products
Understand the regulatory aspects life insurance
Proficient in MS Office/Excel
Good communication/interpersonal skills
Decision making, problem solving & analytical skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Good customer service and public relations skills
2-3 years’ experience in Life and Health insurance operation.
Supervision experience will be an added advantage.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Underwrite medical, financial, residential, travel, occupational and/ or avocational risks in accordance with the underwriting philosophy and guidelines.
Maintain high level of accuracy in underwriting decisions and transactions processed daily.
To deliver consistent and delightful one-stop customer experiences across case underwriting, NB operations and underwriting enquiries in accordance with the company’s service standards and quality objectives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management controls, corporate policies, procedures and underwriting guidelines.
Perform risk assessment for cases referred by Policy Servicing Team (including non-disclosure, reinstatement, review of substandard terms or addition of riders).
Identify areas of improvement in order to achieve defined levels of improvement in efficiency and productivity
