The Financial Analyst – Asia Pacific supports the APAC management reporting
and analytics which include weekly/monthly trading updates| monthly forecast
projections/ annual budget| analytics and presentation preparation. The
analyst will play a key business partnering role| provide timely and accurate
financial| risk and management reporting information.

What will I be doing?
As the Financial Analyst – Asia Pacific| you will be responsible for
performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
_Management Reporting_
Responsible for the Weekly| Actual| Forecast| Budget reporting of all Asia Pacific hotel entities; ensuring results are in compliance with management contracts| company requirements and timetables

Prepare Trading Management Reports for APAC Senior Leadership: KPIS| Business Review Decks| APAC Dashboard.

_Analytics_

Identify what data is available and relevant for problem solving.
Analyze raw data: assessing quality| cleansing| structuring for management review.
Drive data-based decision making through the creation of dashboards conveying insight.
Responding to requests from management to undertake data analysis projects for purpose of identifying actions to improve profitability and efficiency.

_Tracking Performance_

Track hotel trading results against the Management Contact performance clauses.
Track potential risk & opportunity for Incentive Fee Tiers.
Track Hotel Bonus achievement and distribute to Asia Pacific Hotel General Managers.
Track Hotel Owner Budget Approval status.
Track Capital Expenditure – Administrator for the Capital Online Tool for the APAC Region.

_Ad Hoc_

Provide support to hotels on month end reporting issues i.e. Datalink| PeopleSoft| PROPPLAN| etc.
Manage the reporting set up of new hotels as and when required.
Training Hotel/Regional users on PROPPLAN.

A Financial Analyst – Asia Pacific serving Hilton Brands is always working on
behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill
this role| you should maintain the attitude| behaviors| skills| and values
that follow:

At least two years relevant experience.
University Degree in Finance or Business related disciplines.
MS Excel – Advanced (Basic Macro knowledge).
Experience in the Hotel Industry (Finance).
Language – Fluent in English.
Logical thinker who delivers under high pressure.
Strong team player who is detailed| highly analytical and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
Ability to work independently; possess the ability to recognize the need for involvement of other teams/peers and capability to effectively facilitate that collaboration.
