Objectives
To groom, nurture and develop young talent for junior management positions with potential to grow within the organization and/or the group. This programme allows the Hotel to be equipped with a ready pool of leaders for future succession planning.
 
Management Trainee Programme
Management Trainees (MT) will embark on a 12-month training programme in preparation for assuming a leadership role within the department. Throughout the 12-month rotation, the Management Trainee will learn the basics and be rotated within the different positions/sections in the department.

An individualized development plan is created to map out rotations based on the individual’s background, experience and exposure. This program offers the Management Trainee to acquire work experience from ground level whilst gaining customer service skills and developing supervisory skills. Upon successful completion of the 12-month rotation, the candidate will be placed in a suitable management position, serving an 18-month bond with the company.

Food & Beverage

Requirements:

Shift Work (including Sundays and PHs)

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or related disciplines
Fresh degree holders are preferred
Read, write, speak English fluently

Social Media & Promotions Executive, Food & Beverage
The Social Media & Promotions Executive, Food & Beverage manages social media platforms for specific F&B outlets through dynamic content creation to build an engaged community, enhance brand awareness, product likability and positively influence trial and usage pertaining to tactical promotional activation. He/She should stay tuned to social media trends and engage in research and analysis to develop a compelling and integrated social campaign and improve social media presence and marketing efficacy.

Summary of Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:
Oversees Food & Beverage social media accounts management.
Develops engaging, creative and innovative content calendar for regular postings, to engage audiences and promote outlet-focused messages. Social media calendar to coincide with new product releases, promotions, ingredients or other messages.
Ability to take great photos and videos, and create creative copywriting to post on social media channels.

Coordinates with internal stakeholders for creation of content calendar.
Manages social media community by actively interacting with audiences.
Analyses social media campaigns to gather actionable insights on areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

At least Diploma in Marketing or Social Media or related fields
Knowledge of Social Media Platforms, Web Proficiency and Computer Software

Job Description – Retail Assistant, Laundry (VAA01422)
Attend to all walk in customers at the Raffles City Drycleaners and confirm acceptance of cleaning orders.

Verify quantities, inspect defective areas on garments and issue receipt to customers with indication of correct quantity, appropriate remarks and desired completion date.
Attach identification tags to each piece of garment and special instruction tag to garments that require special attention.
Classify garments according to cleaning requirement, special items and despatch to the laundry premises for processing.
Follow up on finished garments to ensure that the required items are completed on time.
Sort the completed garments according to groupings and identification tags, inspect finished quality, verify completed quantities, carry out minor sewing or replacement of buttons and accessories, perform packaging and assign storage location.
File completed order slips according to customer’s name in alpha order to allow systematic retrieval of garments during the collection.
Release garments to customers and collect payment either in the forms of credit transaction or cash.

Performs cashiering function and ensure accuracy in cash count.
Promote shop image though friendly and helpful counter service.
Maintain shop cleanliness.
Ensure adequate stock of laundry supplies necessary for the retail operations.
Highlight overdue items to Valet Manager for sending reminders to customers.
Prepare daily sales summary for submission to Accounts department and own department

Qualifications:

Secondary Education
Prior work experience in counter service will be an advantage
Able to converse in English and Mandarin
Presentable, well groomed and meticulous
Able to work under pressure and independently

JOB DESCRIPTION – BAR MANAGER (STS00770)
The Bar Manager plans, directs and evaluates the operation of the outlets. He/She is responsible for ensuring compliance with standard of service, operating procedures and health/safety regulations.

Summary of Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:
Direct the efficient and effective F&B Bar operation activities of the outlets
Plan and conduct tests to identify and improve weaknesses in service activities
Monitor volume of business and related labor requirement forecast
Ensure bar areas meet standard for cleanliness, proper set up, sufficient supplies and equipment
Monitor quality and portion control

Solicit and review customers and group critics on quality and service/product provided
Identify issues/concerns and formulate recommendations for improvement
Establish and enforce maintenance, repair, cleaning and re-stocking schedules
Minimize waste, pilferage, neglect, breakage, misuse and mishandling
Monitor and enforce procedures relating to points of sale system activities
Prepare periodic forecast to project expenses and report to operations manager
Ensure risk of accidents, illness or injury occurring from unsafe practices are minimized
Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times
Ensure that established control procedures, liquors’ laws and regulations are followed
Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel and department

Qualifications:
