Solutioning Practice Lead- IT Architecture

The Solutioning Practice Lead (SPL) is part of the Customs Services
Solutioning (CSS) for Dell Technologies Services. The Solutioning Practice
Lead acts as the subject matter expert and thought leadership advocate for
Dell Technologies Services- responsible for developing new capabilities-
managing and expanding the Support and Field Services as a custom service to
meet strategic customers` requirements.

Key responsibilities:

The SPL should have deep knowledge in their area of expertise and uses this to help develop custom solutions strategies- working closely with the business partners in Support and Field Services Delivery- Product Portfolio as well as internal Presales Solution Architects.

Requirements:

15+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
5+ years of managerial/leadership experience
In-depth knowledge and experience in Technical Support and Warranty Management Services.
Proficient in multiple service areas and technologies.
Skills and experience in constructing complex service solutions in the IT services market.
Advanced understanding of services related processes and technologies.
Thorough understanding of services P&L and cash flow development and business impact.
In-depth knowledge of assessing operational risk on profitability and impacts to service delivery.
Experience in assessing service delivery cost driver attributes of complex services.

Work closely with customers to understand customer requirements- design and develop application and data architectures & solutions and communicate with cross functional teams to drive Cloud Native application- Analytics and AI/ML initiatives
Lead a team of consultants consisting of DevOps and Data Engineers- Application and Big Data/AI Architects and Data Scientists & Analysts and build Application Transformation- Big Data and AI/ML capability to ensure readiness as required
Work with Global and Enterprise account teams and Southeast Asia consulting leadership to drive adoption of cloud native application and AI/ML solutions during pre-sales engagements and post-sales delivery
Identify- lead and contribute to the creation of best practices- services offerings and white papers
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Masters/PhD degree in Computer Science- Engineering and related fields or equivalent practical experiences.
10+ years hands on experience leading design- development and implementation of Big Data Analytics- Data Science Models and AI/ML solutions to customers- including experience in managing a team of consultants
Extensive experience in designing- implementing and testing end to end big data projects with expertise in design and tuning of data warehouse- Batch and Realtime ETL/ELT and modern data architecture. Delivered with technologies like Hadoop- Kafka- Spark- NoSQL (MongoDB etc)- ETL Tools (Talend- Informatica etc)- Relational Databases (Oracle- SQL Server etc)- MPP Databases (Greenplum- Teradata etc) and Data Science Toolkits (R- Python- SAS etc) to support large scale BI- Analytics and Machine Learning
Experience with data management (metadata- lineage- tracking etc) and data governance & security is preferred
Experience with Application Transformation projects in migrating applications to cloud native platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Red Hat OpenShift is preferre

Pre-sales and Post-sales Delivery Experience in the Financial Services Domain is preferre

Experience with IoT Data System Implementation is a plu

Demonstrate knowledge in Cloud Computing and Cloud Native Application Development on-premise and on public clou

Ability to provide thought leadership and lead enterprise application & data strategies and capable of building business case to justify TCO- ROI and enablement consideration

Ability to manage business stakeholders effectively and to prioritize and manage backlog of customer requirements according to business needs.
Distinctive problem-solving skills and experience working with multiple stakeholders in cross-functional teams- presenting data products and analysis results to business stakeholders
