The Deloitte Global Cybersecurity function is responsible for the firm’s overall objectives of enhancing data protection, standardizing and securing critical infrastructure and gaining cyber visibility through security operations centers. The Cybersecurity organization delivers a comprehensive set of cybersecurity services to Deloitte member firms through regional delivery hubs and a Global Fusion Center. We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join the team.

Work you’ll do:
The Senior Storage Operations Engineer reports to the Senior Operations Manager. The role focuses on providing operational and project support ensuring that the GTI hosted and managed services/applications and the virtualization and compute layers are highly available.
This very interesting and diverse role will include responsibilities such as:
Contribute to producing and maintaining processes, procedures, operational and architectural documentation meeting GTI standards
Owns 24×365 storage operation and management
Supports infrastructure applications from a Storage function as required, including Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare, SQL Server, SharePoint, SAP and Microsoft Clustering
Is responsible for ensuring all SAN equipment, i.e. arrays, switches, other connected devices within the data center(s) conform to the same standard configurations and code/firmware levels that are in line with best practices
Drive optimization and performance of hardware infrastructure
Participate in global working groups responsible for the deployment and development of global technology systems and infrastructure
This Deloitte Global role requires limited to no travel.

Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in the technology domain
Proven track record and experience of the following in a highly complex and global organization:
managing large scale data center architecture and implementation; appreciate the important aspects of running a 24/7/365 enterprise environment
managing and organizing documentation within operational environments with focus upon indexing and content labeling
demonstrating expertise of IT governance concepts
recognizing and handling confidential and sensitive information
understanding the portfolio and the business drivers of the various components
operating within a process-driven organization, but not be limited or constrained by it
Education and experience:
Bachelor’s degree: degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education-related experience
ITIL Foundation Qualification
Professional certifications are preferred
