Purpose & Accountabilities:
-Deliver maintenance execution of rotating equipment in the production unit.
-Performs equipment troubleshooting and providing feedback to custodian.
-Maximizing the productivity of the contractor.
-Implementation of LEAN.
-Execution of planned/unplanned shutdowns and TAs execution
Ensures Safety, Reliability/quality & optimum cost during maintenance execution.
-Uses GSAP as a tool to manage maintenance execution. Accountability:
-Provide day-to-day mechanical engineering support to the Production Unit.
-Ensure compliance of mechanical engineering practices and assets with statutory obligations, Engineering Codes of Practices and Shell DEP standards.
-Review and communicate daily / weekly schedule assignments with workforce; ensure safe and efficient completion of assigned work.
-Plan / execute / obtain resources, materials, services, and equipment for E and SB priority work repairs.
-Ensure compliance with HSSE barriers
-Monitor and feedback on the maintenance effectiveness process and take corrective action if required
-GSAP administration of time sheets, service, purchase, and material orders
-Lead in daily maintenance schedule execution
-Liaise with/consults Operations, Technology, other Engineering and Procurement departments as part of the execution of jobs
-Perform end of day schedule progress (percent complete, MCMP, TECO and approve actual hours)
-Ensure completion of QA / QC and condition reports
-Field presence and supervisor of maintenance contractor (craft productivity and quality of work) for effective and efficient execution
-Manage the activities in the hard schedule, adopting small adjustments or deviations where necessary
-Feedback jobs that roll-over into next week(s) to the scheduler
-Identify risks for not achieving schedule and taking mitigating action, keeping maintenance team lead informed
-Feedback to maintenance planning and scheduling
-Timely request to operations for maintenance permitting
-Perform shutdown management – planning, preparation & execution to achieve targets on duration, cost and safety
-Execute plant changes (PCR) and minor projects (CRERs) meeting HSE requirements, budget and schedule.
-Analyze and trouble-shoot mechanical problems.
-Report on recurring problems/breakdowns
-Update and maintain spare parts inventory
-Involve in scheduled safety walkabout
-Assess the risk of all day to day jobs that is carried out and voice out any unsafe condition noticed.
-Develop formal JOHAN with all relevant parties for jobs with medium and high risk

Skills & Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 2-3 years engineering/maintenance of rotating & static equipment (experience in oil and gas industry is preferred)
Good understanding of the various international mechanical engineering standards.
Able to work independently and yet participate as a member of a multidiscipline team.
Knowledge of GSAP and GAME ME processes would be an added advantage
