Job Summary
Cost Management:
Preparing preliminary and detailed cost estimates to establish project budget- cash flow projections and financial statements to monitor and control project cost and Conducting cost reconciliation to meet client`s cost requirements
Value Engineering:
Reviewing project objectives and ensuring projects are delivered in the most cost effective way
Tender Administration:
Conducting feasibility studies and pre-qualification if Tenderers and preparing main contract and nominated sub-contracts tender documents and reports
Contract Administration:
Preparing contract documents- recommending payment for work done- administering contracts in accordance with contractual provisions- assessment of variation works and settlement of final account

Other Tasks:

Pre-Contract work including preparation of estimates- feasibility studies- tender documents- tender reports etc. This includes taking off where required

Post-Contract work including the processing of progress payments- variation orders- site meeting etc.

Co-coordinating a project to ensure all relevant deadlines are achieved

Promote a good and positive image of Company

Reporting to the Project Director- Associate- and Senior Project Executive and/or any officer appointed by the Board

Perform any other ad-hoc tasks or duties

Minimum Requirements

1 – 3 years of relevant working experience in similar position is highly desirable

Good verbal and written communication skills

Computer literacy

Fresh grads with the preferred academic discipline will be considered

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying (highly preferred) or other relevant disciplines

Post contract administrative work, e.g. manage variations, valuations, attending site meetings
Project close out
Assist senior cost manager and assist the leads with major commissions/projects with defined levels of accountability
Applying the principles of quality assurance and environmental management in compliance with the organization’s Policies

The successful candidate should possess:

Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines

Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in Building projects preferably with consultancy background, sound computer knowledge and good command of both written and spoken English

Familiarity with different types of Conditions of Contracts and project controls tools/procedures

Has a general knowledge of current legal and regulatory developments in respect of construction and associated law

Possess sound technical health, safety and environmental knowledge, applicable to the business and wider construction industry

Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other role related software packages

Reliable mathematical ability and accuracy in all your work, and good standard of literacy and presentation skills

Good command of both written and spoken English and/or Mandarin
