It`s hard to put a price on driving human progress- but when you`re operatin
in a competitive business environment- you need innovative pricing strategies
Our Pricing team is responsible for developing- implementing and evaluatin
these strategies. We conduct research and competitive pricing analysis an
monitor the ongoing business environment to ensure Dell maintains
competitive market position.
This leader-of-leaders role reports to the Vice President for Special Pricing and drives the strategy and direction for Finance Pricing teams in the Dell Client Solutions business across APJC. This role is closely aligned with Marketing (COC) Pricing to deliver the price plans that support Dell|s financial goals- and leverages Global Pricing Transformation opportunities to deliver a competitive advantage.
Key responsibilities of the role include developing and implementing special
pricing standards- policies and practices to support effective pricing
decision support and robust risk management. Additionally- the team member in
this role is responsible for execution oversight for contract and non-contract
end user opportunities. This role requires a team member who can think
critically- simplify complex requirements and identify opportunities for
automation to increase work efficiency.
Note that this role is part of the DellEMC Special Pricing Council responsible
for setting policy- best practices and direction for special pricing across
ALL of the company`s business units. This requires a team member who can work
cross functionally and cross regionally.
– Minimum of 5 years` experience of pricing management or commercial finance and 3 years` experience of building/ leading high-performing- highly-engaged teams
-Proven track record of executive-level engagement and managing a matrixed environment
-Proven track record of driving business outcomes and/or improvements
-Strong influencing and negotiation skills
-Recognised leadership profile
-Knowledge and experience of APJC IT markets is a strong advantage
