Within the CCO at Dell- we are looking for a Data Engineer to join ou

CCO Data Science team. In this role you`ll gain great visibility an

collaborate with a number of key leaders delivering valued customer experience
programs. You`ll partner with functional areas of the business to address the
key engagement and operational needs required to support transformational
opportunities that leverage the full Dell Technologies portfolio for our

_Key Responsibilities_

As a Software/Data Engineer- you will work with stakeholders supporting with all kinds of Data engineering tasks and implement algorithms as per direction.
You will work with a team of data engineers and SMEs to test- refine quantitative models at the POC level- and scale for the population with stakeholder sign-offs
You will be handling large volumes of data inputs (surveys- social- voice of sales- quality data- financial performance- repurchase behavior- voice of field- product surveys- loyalty metrics etc.) to develop features for modelling and other business analytics.
You will work to create new tools- solutions and features that support sophisticated analytics within the database. She/he will assist in driving initiatives both internally and within cross-functional teams- mindful of priorities and resources
Research and test algorithms| efficacy (i.e.- by applying to test/sampled data and assessing accuracy/fit/predictive strength) for differing analytical use-cases

_Techniques And Tools_

Help build a data driven organization where decision making is pivoted upon sound quantitative evidence
Software Engineering skills with Data Science Knowledge
SQL- Data Modeling- Data Warehousing Concept & SDLC Skills
Big data analytics in Hadoop environment with Python / Java / Scala
Strong technical aptitude of network- systems and applications
Appropriate understanding and ability of complex organizational data architecture
Apply predictive modeling and Data mining techniques for a variety of user modeling tasks
Conversant to work with large volumes of functional and business data sets
Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications- standards- and programming
Developing and managing RESTful API applications with demonstrable production-scale experience


Data sciences / Computer engineering / Management Information Systems background with a passion for analyses- conversant / certified in data mining techniques. Masters preferred


2-5 years of experience in Software Engineering – preferably with data science experience
Ability to work cross functionally- so preference is for an individual that is not an expert in one area but has had roles across the value chain
Confidence to take unconventional positions when supported by fact and experience
Excellent track record of handling ambiguity well
